What’s happening in Fortnite? On March 20 Season 2 of Chapter 3 of Fortnite started. Since Season 2, you have been involved in a battle with the underground organization “IO”, in which you, with the help of the Seven, attempt to save all realities of the cosmos. To do this, you defended the island and defeated the Imagined Order’s troops. However, a devastating live event is about to happen soon.

When does Season 2 end in Chapter 3?
What is known: In the game, Fortnite indicates that Season 2 in Chapter 3 will run until June 3. June 3 is a Friday. Although new seasons are usually released on a Tuesday, the release of Chapter 3 has also shown that nothing is certain for a new season on weekends.

When does Season 3 start in Chapter 3?
So far, it has been: Typically, a new season starts right after the end of an old season. Therefore, we assume that Season 2 will end on June 3 and that Season 3 of Chapter 3 will start on June 4, 2022. That would be a Saturday.
However, a timer dates the beginning of the new live event to June 4, Saturday at around 10 PM. Since you can expect downtime, the new Season 3 is likely to be ready only on Sunday.
Usually, new seasons in Fortnite start on a Tuesday. However, the first season of Chapter 3 started on a Sunday. It’s quite possible that the next section will also begin on a Saturday or Sunday.
Expect there to be downtime between the seasons during which the game is not accessible. A prolonged downtime like with the Black Hole is not expected, as a new chapter is not starting, but only a new season within a chapter.
Season 3 Chapter 3 Battle Pass, Live Event, and Start
What is known so far: There are currently no official information about which content will be included in the new season. However, data miners already have an idea. What do we know about the new season? So far, not much is known. In the new data from Fortnite, leakers have only discovered hints about the upcoming live event. The large mech leader is slowly being built by the Seven to be used in the final battle against the IO.
A new Battle Pass has also been released, but this should be taken with caution as it has not been confirmed by Epic Games.
Much remains unclear beneath this. In the quest of Jonesy, it becomes clear that the sisters, two followers of the Seven, do not have entries in the IO. These were deleted by the possible leader of the Imagined Order “Genõ”.
Whether all three characters are planning a conspiracy against you and you will be shot into space with the rest of the Seven in the live event remains unclear.
It is also possible that the disclosure of who or what Genõ is will finally happen, as Fortnite’s story is approaching its end and Epic has not yet revealed the puppeteer.
As for the new map, not much is known either; many parts of the Chapter 3 map have been affected by the battle against the IO. A complete renovation of the map for Season 3 Chapter 3 could be conceivable.
