Fortnite: Battle Royale offers a new Starter Pack almost every season. This time it is called Red Strike and brings a skin along with V-Bucks. A leak also shows what the skin looks like.
What is included in the new Starter Pack? According to data miners, a new Starter Pack in Fortnite is expected to be released soon. It should be called Red Strike and will include the following items:
- Skin “Red Strike”
- Back Bling for Red Strike
- 600 V-Bucks
What does the skin look like? Red Strike is a skin that, according to the leak, wears a black and red jacket. He has a mask on, with a tuft of hair sticking out. His pants, on the other hand, are golden. In the embedded tweet, you can see the skin in action. Unfortunately, we currently lack images and information regarding the back bling.
A bargain, but only for real money
How much does the pack cost? If you want the pack, you should expect to pay the usual $4.99 according to the leak. Here, the packs were available for the same amount in Euros. Since the 600 V-Bucks in the pack are already worth 6 Euros, the pack is a real bargain at this price.
Why is it so cheap? The Starter Packs are probably offered so cheaply to encourage players to engage in microtransactions who have not done so before or have earned V-Bucks through Battle Pass rewards or the PvE mode Save the World.
Because the Starter Pack is explicitly available only for real money, not through in-game V-Bucks. Since you can hardly buy anything with the 600 Bucks in the pack, some customers may well go back to the shop to purchase more Bucks.
When does the pack come out? When the Starter Pack Red Strike comes out is not known. However, since it is already in the game data, it could come with the next update. Updates usually happen on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. So keep your eyes peeled if you want the pack.
