In Fortnite, you can’t always have luck. Such was the case with professional player Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson, who first destroyed his keyboard out of anger during his stream and then accidentally sat in his food.
What happened? When you’re gaming and you have really bad luck, something might get broken out of frustration. This is what happened to the 14-year-old Fortnite prodigy Mongraal.
On Twitch, three short clips from one of his streams went viral, showing him not only destroying his keyboard but also accidentally sitting in his food.
Videos show how Mongraal destroyed his keyboard
This is how it all started: The professional player Mongraal, who is already signed with Team Secret despite his young age, participated in the Architect Pop-Up Cup of Fortnite. In the first clip, you can see how the player gets eliminated before he even found a weapon.
This frustrated Mongraal so much that he took his keyboard and slammed it hard onto his desk. The keys went flying in all directions and the keyboard was unusable. Only the LEDs still worked, glowing ominously red.
The rage continued: Once you’re in a rage, it doesn’t go away so quickly. While trying to fix his keyboard and put the keys back together, Mongraal was overtaken by anger a second time.
In the second clip, you can see Mongraal hitting the keyboard because the keys don’t fit easily into the case. His anger had not subsided and the keyboard responded to this renewed act of violence with complete failure.
That was the crowning finale: Amidst all the destructive rage, misfortune also struck the professional. When he sat down on his bed frustrated after the keyboard’s final demise and wanted to try fixing it again, you could hear nothing but complaints in the stream: “I put my butt in my food!”
Because on the bed was still his dinner, a full plate of pasta with sauce, which the boy had now spread across the bed and his backside. He must have forgotten in his anger that his dinner was waiting for him there.
However, Mongraal did not get upset afterwards. A loud, resigned exhale commented on this faux pas. For the streamer, the day was probably over.
