The player POW3R from the pro team Fnatic has been a professional in Overwatch and Call of Duty. In Fortnite, he recently showed once again that he seems to have nerves of steel.
What happened? In a wild battle in Fortnite, POW3R and his opponent dueled. Both players built against each other and entrenched themselves in increasingly powerful fortifications.
However, POW3R found himself in serious danger and fell many meters to the ground, facing certain death.
Launch pad saves player
How did POW3R survive? For most players, this fall would have meant the end. The fall damage in Fortnite is quite severe. But POW3R remained completely calm. Without making a sound, he simply built a launch pad underneath him at the last second. This allowed him to completely escape the fall damage, survived, and immediately jumped back into the fight.
Why is this move so epic? What sounds easy is actually extremely difficult. Because the launch pad had to be exactly where POW3R landed. And it had to be placed on a structure already built by players. If POW3R had not kept his nerves and missed that minimal window of time, he would have smashed to the ground and lost the game.
