In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) a famous streamer made a big mistake. Nevertheless, he won the round spectacularly!
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, anything can happen. Especially towards the end, when the play area becomes smaller and only a few players remain, it gets incredibly dramatic! The duel for the final victory is then hard to surpass in tension.
Normally, players act particularly effectively and professionally in the final round, as every mistake could cost the victory.
However, some gamers are so confident that they engage in silly games.
“I’m going for a No-Scope!”
The Fortnite player Shroud is a true professional. He dominated in Counter Strike: Global Offensive and is feared in PUBG. With his streamer buddy Ninja (one of the best and richest Fortnite streamers), he occasionally hunts in Fortnite.
In one match, unfortunately, Ninja was knocked out. Only Shroud and one last enemy remained. Shroud had almost full shields and health. But he didn’t want to just wipe out the last enemy. He announced, “I’m going for a No-Scope.” That is a shot with a sniper rifle without using the scope.
A risky maneuver, as the last remaining enemy in a match is usually no noob.
Stay calm and kill the opponent
Nevertheless, Shroud wanted to do it and promptly messed it up. He jumped dumbly in front of the enemy’s gun and panickedly built walls and ramps. He took several shotgun hits. His shield was gone, and shortly thereafter he only had 17 hitpoints left.
Ninja, who was watching, became more and more hysterical and probably thought of Shroud as a complete idiot. But the professional Shroud stayed calm and went through with it. As the opponent confidently climbed up a ramp with the shotgun aimed at Shroud to finish him off, Shroud just aimed and blew the opponent’s head off.
It was a headshot, and with that, the chicken dinner Epic Victory went to Shroud. Ninja could only awefully say, “You are out of your fucking mind, dude”.
