The Fortnite pro Cody “Clix” Conrad participated in a cash tournament and lost a round because a Loot Shark got in his way. Now he wants to see these beasts out of the game.
What kind of tournament is this? In the Fortnite tournament “Dream Hack Online”, players compete against each other in solos. However, to participate, one had to register, and only the top 250 advance to the next round.
The prize pool is a total of $250,000 every month, distributed across 3 regions. The Fortnite pro Clix also participated in this tournament.
A shark ate his loot
What happened to the pro in the tournament? In one round of the tournament, pro Clix, who has already invested $6,000 in his new gaming setup, was far from the safe zone, in a build battle with an opponent. He needed to secure the elimination as he needed materials to get out of the harmful storm as quickly as possible.
Although he could eliminate his opponent, the desired loot fell from the high building toward the water. The pro quickly made his way, but he wasn’t fast enough.
Once he arrived, he realized that a shark had already sniffed out his loot, and he could only watch as all the materials he needed were consumed by a shark.
