The Fortnite pro Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is accused of being too toxic. However, he believes that this is just part of gaming. In a stream, he explains why he finds this normal.
This is the situation: In one of his Mixer streams, Ninja was accused of being too toxic because he insults and yells at his friends like DrLupo, CourageJD, and TimTheTatman during the game.
The pro thinks this is normal and part of gaming. Just because they are so close friends, this behavior is something that can be practiced among friends.
Yet Ninja is often accused of being toxic or having a big ego. After all, he thinks that he could easily be one of the best Fortnite players if he practiced a bit.
Everyone Complains While Playing
This is what Ninja says about the accusations: When he was addressed in his stream on May 23 in the chat about being too toxic, Ninja said: He and his group of friends all roast each other and shout at each other. (via Mixer Stream from 12 hours and 49 minutes)
“It is precisely because we are so close friends. Only among ourselves can we behave like this with each other.”
Later he adds that everyone complains while he plays games. It would even make up “90% of the fun. Mostly, anyway.” Ninja likes to complain and knows what Fortnite needs to change to be good.
It then seems that Ninja was addressed about a joke where they make fun of DrLupo’s age, as he is the oldest in the group.
Ninja and his friends then call him: old man. Some seem to see this as toxic behavior. But among friends, it just seems to be a joke.
In conclusion, Ninja says that anyone who would consider him toxic has been brainwashed. He wonders which streamers those players usually watch.
Twitch Streamer SypherPK Shows It
One day after Ninja reacted to the accusations in his stream, Twitch streamer SypherPK spoke out on Twitter. He is tired of Fortnite pro players getting all the drama hype.
Now it would be his turn, and he meant that he would start insulting his friends now.
Of course, the insults were meant to be funny, and all the affected players responded accordingly. It was meant to show that one can interact like this among friends without immediately fighting, as Ninja stated.
Just recently, Ninja mobilized players on Twitter to make controllers get nerfed on PC. Shortly thereafter, the news came that the controllers would be getting nerfed as Ninja wished.
