The Fortnite YouTuber and professional SypherPK has commented on the upcoming Season 6 in one of his latest videos. He says that while the current season has been nice, something has to change to alter the gameplay.
This is the current situation regarding Fortnite: The current Season 5 ends on March 16. Something could definitely happen at the end of the season, as according to leaks, the Zero Point is expected to change again.
Such changes would also be important for professional SypherPK, as he believes that Season 6 needs to bring significant changes and reminds us of past updates that have shaken up the entire Fortnite meta.
In Fortnite’s e-sports scene, SypherPK has also been active. He has competed in various tournaments alongside Nickmercs.
Season 6 needs new content at last
This is what SypherPK says about Season 5: Although the professional is satisfied with the current season, he emphasizes that there was little relevant for gameplay.
SypherPK says in his video: “These skin packs and bundles don’t necessarily change gameplay, even though they are cool.”
With this, the professional also refers to the numerous collaborations that Fortnite has entered into this season. While many cool skins have been added, like Ant-Man recently, not much has changed in gameplay.
This is what SypherPK wishes for Season 6: The professional hopes that in Season 6, more focus will be placed on gameplay. He says:
“Hopefully, they will tone down the numerous collaborations for skins in Season 6. I think it’s time to shift the focus back to the updates that concern gameplay.”
He refers to updates intended to change gameplay. He mentions new items, weapons, or map changes as examples. SypherPK has nothing against old items returning, but he also wishes for new content that has not existed yet.
How realistic is that? Currently, the Zero Point floats around in Fortnite, seeming powerful. It wouldn’t be the first time that something like this has significantly altered the Fortnite map. So with the start of Season 6, there could at least be map changes.
