A tweet is now causing a stir, as the words could mean that Fortnite is bringing the cube back into the game.
What makes the purple cube in Fortnite special
Kevin does not just stand motionless in the countryside; he can move, shape environments to his liking, and even deal damage to you if you do not show him respect. All in all, one might think he has a peculiar character.
What makes him so special? To make it short, variety. After about 5 seasons, the old Kevin was brought to life and added to Fortnite. Subsequently, the community wondered what the purpose of this cube in Fortnite was. They observed him for hours, days, and even weeks to find out why he was even there. Through his presence, he changed the map without any apparent reason.
What has come to light now? A tweet from the Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games surfaced, featuring a well-known title that everyone associated with Kevin back then. However, this time it refers to a second part of the title, suggesting a comeback from Kevin himself.
Since many statements from Donald Mustard have hinted at what will ultimately be implemented in Fortnite, we are optimistic that this time it won’t be empty words.
However, whether this was just a meaningless allusion or has deeper reasons remains to be seen. The fact is that Kevin could potentially bring back some variety to Fortnite, if not bridge the gap until a new update with new content is ready for download.
