In Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, chickens are a secret weapon. Because not many know the tricks they are capable of. See here how incredibly far you can fly with them.
What’s this trick? You’ve probably already seen the new feathered creatures that are now wandering around the map of Season 6 in Chapter 2 of Fortnite along with wolves and wild boars. They not only slow your fall, but also help you launch high.
Players have tested this now with jump pads, and the result is a trick that everyone should use.
“I landed in Risky!”
This is how it looks: The player ItsWayzy (via Twitter) shared his experience with the chicken flight using a video. At the beginning, he runs with the chicken over his head to one of the launch pads that you can find on the new map of Season 6.
Then he steps onto the launch pad and is launched into the air together with the chicken. In the catapult-like forward motion, the pair covers quite a distance. Even the player can’t believe how far he flies. He comments on the flight with “oh my god”. Laughing, he explains when he lands on a wooden structure, “I landed in Risky”.

This is how the trick works
This is what you need to do: You can now find wild animals all over the map. Look for a chicken. And do this preferably near one of the new Guardian Spires. You can find them all around the prehistoric area, scattered around the center “The Spire”. To keep safe from wolves and wild boars, the new hunter’s coat from Season 6 is recommended.
Find a chicken and start hunting it. But be quick, because it will try to escape from you. It quickly changes direction and tries to shake you off. Hunt the chicken and grab it. Then head to one of the launch pads you find at the Guardian Spires.
Together with the chicken on your head, step onto the launch pad and see how incredibly far you fly across the map.
What is it good for? There are various situations where such a crazy chicken flight comes in handy. When the storm is closing in and you need to advance quickly. Or also when you are surrounded by enemies and need to fly away quickly.
