Currently, there is a huge monster swimming around the map of Fortnite . Several players confirm the sightings. We tell you what it’s all about. Is Epic planning a live event for E3 2019?
This is what the sightings are about: If you are currently on the edge of the map, you should take a look from the island. A monster is currently wreaking havoc, swimming through the water with the remnants of Polar Peak.
This could come with the monster
This is what we know about the monster: There have been news about the monster for several days.
- First, mysterious winds and sounds were heard beneath Polar Peak.
- Then, a huge eye appeared, peeking out from the ice block.
- Finally, the giant monster completely vanished and took large parts of Polar Peak with it. Only footprints remained.
Now the monster is appearing again. When watching the video, you can still see the remains of Polar Peak on the back of the beast. Not much more is recognizable initially. One thing is for sure: The monster seems to be huge.
What is behind the monster? Epic itself has not commented on the monster yet. Some fans suspect that the monster is related to the film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which is currently in theaters.
Fortnite is known for starting such collaborations. This was last seen with the new John Wick movie.
Does it indicate a live event? The monster has significantly changed the map of Fortnite. It’s quite possible that it will appear in a live event and cause a lot of destruction again.
Epic can certainly be expected to launch such an event at the ongoing giant fair, E3, in Los Angeles.
When will we know more? The latest patches of Fortnite have repeatedly brought news about the monster. If Epic stays true to this line, a new patch with more information about the monster could follow this week.
