Will the rockets be the new turret?
What do we know about the Bottle Rockets? Apart from the announcement text, nothing is officially known. However, dataminers have already uncovered more info. There are sound files for rocket launches, and an image of the targeting crosshair has surfaced. It resembles that of the grenade launcher.
Thus, the Bottle Rockets are likely to be a ballistic weapon, meaning a launch device that fires projectiles in an arched trajectory.
Will the new weapon be a “trap”? Additionally, many players speculate that the rockets must be firmly mounted, like a trap or a trampoline. Or like the infamous turret.
This item was the biggest annoyance in Fortnite for a long time, and players hated the turret to death. Only after numerous nerfs was the item somewhat accepted, also because larger hate objects like the airplane and the sword were introduced.
