In Fortnite a new update is coming today after the server maintenance for PS4, Xbox One, iOS, and PC. It brings the Tactical Fortress and a new mode to Fortnite: Battle Royale. Additionally, the Fortnite patch makes numerous changes to the PvE mode “Save the World”.
Today’s patch 3.5 for Fortnite brings some new features to the popular battle royale mode: like the Tactical Fortress or a new replay system. The main focus of the update is certainly on the PvE “Save the World” – a new event series is starting here. Four new heroes are coming, along with a range of new weapons and the return of the survival mode.

In Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic brings the Replay System, which was developed from Paragon. With this, players should be able to record their gameplay and then edit it into clips together. The system is active on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The Tactical Fortress is in the game. It comes in epic (purple), drops individually, but can be stacked up to 5 times. The fort is 3 stories high and made of metal, it unfolds immediately upon impact.

The Guided Missiles have been nerfed. They are now 15% slower, and the turning speed has been reduced by 75%.
When switching weapons, they now require a short time to be equipped. This is to prevent tactics like the “double shotgun-tactic .
The new 50vs50 2.0 mode is coming – where large teams face off against each other. We present the new Fortnite mode here on Mein MMO.
Also, numerous bugs in Fortnite’s battle royale mode are to be fixed by the patch.

The highlights of the patch notes for 3.5 in Fortnite: Save the World
In PvE, weapons can now cause building damage. This is to make the game more realistic. However, vehicles that survivors use to escape the husks are being removed. Damage will only be inflicted on them with the pickaxe.
Instead of just 9 items, you can now add 19 items to the crafting list. This is crucial for ammunition resupply.
Instead of 999, you can now carry up to 2000 wood, stone, and metal. With the unlocking of new nodes in the skill tree, this can be increased to 5000.
The Explorer and its fragment mechanic have been revised.
The new quest line is called “Push into the Storm: The Advance Group” – the quest takes players into the past of Bus Junkie and Guitar God Lars.
There is a new “Survive the Storm” map “Thunder Route 99” – the survival mode seems to be back in focus now.

Additionally, there are 4 new Cyberpunk Heroes: one from each class and new “Neon Weapons.”
Furthermore, the patch includes a lot of balance changes and bug fixes.
