What is happening today in Fortnite? Fortnitemares is entering the 2nd round and with it, more spooky beautiful content will wash ashore in Fortnite. So get ready for some downtime, so Epic Games has the opportunity to deploy the update to their servers.

Fortnite servers go into downtime – when and how long?
Downtime in the morning: The servers will be shut down at 10 AM our time to roll out update 18.21. Matchmaking will already be disabled 30 minutes earlier, so you won’t be able to play from 9:30 AM.
When can you play again? The servers will be offline for a full hour and playing will not be possible. The downtime is expected to last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. This has been shown by the updates of the past weeks.
Of course, technical problems and delays can always occur during such work. If complications arise, we will report on them.
When will the patch notes be released? As usual, Epic Games will probably not release patch notes regarding the update. Therefore, the community is forced to go on a scavenger hunt to uncover changes.

Possible new Halloween skins
Fortnite has teased Halloween skins in the form of tarot cards over the past few weeks. These were decorated with various symbols. Epic allowed players a bit of guessing as to which skin is behind the card.
New POI – Cube City
Hypex, a well-known leaker from the Fortnite scene, had already announced that a Cube City would be available as a new location during the 8th season. Now it has arrived, and a piece from the kingdom of the cubes has made it to the map.
The center is now called “The Convergence” and can be discovered as a new location. But be careful, the queen and her minions may be waiting for you.
New enemy – The Caretaker

New weapon – Cube Scythe
A new weapon has also made its way into the game. It is the Cube Scythe.
There has already been a weapon with a blade from the Ice King. Now a scythe in the Kevin-look awaits you. Does this weapon belong to the queen?

New consumable – Zero Point Bagel
A new consumable has made its way into the Fortnite database. With it, you can perform double jumps.
