Update: Update 4.3 has now been released. The admittedly quite short patch notes are already available:
- Fortnite Battle Royale 4.3: The bounce pads are now in the game as expected – this is a rare trap that can be found in treasure chests, llamas, supply drops, and simply from the ground. They can be placed on walls or on floors.
- Fortnite Save the World 4.3: Diecast Jonsey and Chromium Ramirez are available in the “Save the World” event store. Both will be available starting June 6th. This is what they look like. We have included them in the featured image.

Bounce pads come in today’s update to Fortnite Battle Royale: The “simple” bounce pads will still be familiar to the veterans among you. These could cover a large distance in a specific direction in Fortnite. These bounce pads were removed in the meantime and are returning today.
Because their rarity level will be lower than that of normal bounce pads (epic/purple), the new bounce pads can be found significantly more often.
The catch with the bounce pads: You will not receive fall damage. So you can build a tall fortress, place the bounce pad in the middle, and easily escape in a dangerous situation. But even in combination with shopping carts, you can move even faster.
When will the update for Fortnite arrive? The content update 4.3 is expected to be available around 2 PM German time. Unlike in previous weeks, there will be no server maintenance. The bounce pads are expected to be found in the game world starting from 2 PM.
What will be included for Save the World players in the update? According to the roadmap released a few days ago, there will be new chrome heroes available in the event store today. With the upcoming update 4.4, which is expected to be released during the week of June 11th to June 15th, players can look forward to the following features:
- Blockbuster part 3
- New antimatter sniper in the weekly event store
- The advantages fabricator will be expanded
- Player reporting
