Map Changes
When you now enter the map of Fortnite, you will immediately notice some changes. The landscape looks, fitting to the theme, prehistoric and untouched. In the center of the map, you will find the location “The Spire,” which is surrounded by a village. There stands a huge pillar, and around it are old stone houses.
Other new locations are Colossal Crops and Boney Burbs. The 3 new locations on the map are presented in more detail in a separate article.
Mysterious towers stand on the edge of the prehistoric landscape. The so-called “Guardian Towers” are guarded by mysterious forces.
New Weapons from Bones in Season 6
If you want, you can now build your own weapons in Fortnite. To do this, you can use animal and mechanical parts that were spared by the massive shockwave.
Here’s how you can build weapons to your liking. As examples, Fortnite introduces the following new weapons:
- The Prehistoric Rifle
- Revolver
- Flame and Mechanics Bows
Weapons from the Vault and into the Vault

- Dragon’s Breath Shotgun (Epic/Legendary)
- Tactical Shotgun
- Charge Shotgun
- Lever Action Shotgun
- Lever Action Rifle (Uncommon/Rare/Epic)
- Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle (Rare/Epic/Legendary)
- Common Assault Rifle
Weapons from previous seasons are returning. This will particularly please shotgun fans.
- The Pump Shotgun is available in the rarities Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary
- All revolvers in the game have been unlocked
Test the weapon selection now in your games of season 6.
Animals in the Wild
Everywhere on the map of season 6 in Fortnite you will now find animals. But there are important differences. Some are easy to fight, others are considered dangerous.
- If you encounter chickens, they are considered easy prey
- Wolves are dangerous, watch out!
- According to Fortnite, more animals are supposed to “hatch”
- The graphic from Fortnite also shows a wild boar
What can you do with them? You can hunt or tame the animals. They are suitable for gathering materials to make weapons.
New Loot Chests
The bunker chests in season 6 of Fortnite offer you powerful loot. If you find them, you should definitely check them out. The weapon rarities range from “Rare” to “Legendary.” Including rocket launchers.
