In Fortnite today, on September 12, the servers went down across all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). Maintenance is being used to upload Update 26.10 to the servers.

Important Information:
- Super Level styles have been activated for Chapter 4 Season 4 and can now be unlocked.
Competitive Notes
- The Ice Wall, Dekus Smash and “All Might” supply drops are not included in tournaments.
Important Bug Fixes
- The emoticon “Beautiful Arc” is now back in the locker of all players who owned it.
- By swapping available reality expansions, you can now make progress on the quests for the outfits “Pickpocket” and “Alias.”
- Switching weapons while interacting with a showcase in a vault no longer prevents you from interacting with the showcase.
- Progress on Survival Medals no longer gets stuck at 9/10.
- PC players now continue to walk automatically when they have minimized the Fortnite game window.
- The gyroscope control is no longer inverted on Android devices.
What’s happening today in Fortnite? Epic Games is shutting down the servers of Chapter 4 Season 4 to upload a new update. According to leakers, this update is expected to unlock new skins in the shop as well as the additional styles of the Battle Pass.

Fortnite: Server Down – When and how long are they offline?
This is the downtime in the morning: According to Epic Games, the servers are expected to be shut down at 10:00 AM German time. Matchmaking has been disabled 30 minutes prior, so you can no longer search for new rounds starting at 9:30 AM.
When can you play again? This is a larger update. It is therefore likely that Epic Games may bring the servers back online at 11:00 AM or even at 1:00 PM. However, that is not confirmed.
When will the patch notes be released? Epic Games usually publishes a brief list of patch notes on their site after the update. If that happens, we will list them here briefly and clearly.
What contents might appear with Update 26.10?
Epic Games reveals hardly any new information about upcoming content before a new update. However, trustworthy leakers like Shiina have had their eye on the data that remains hidden from regular users for a long time and know roughly what to expect this time. You can expect the following things:

- Super Styles
- Added shop tabs
- new reality expansions
- new weekly quests
- maybe the return of Party Pizza
- maybe the introduction of the new DMR from the trailer
