In Fortnite, a new update for Battle Royale and Save the World is coming today. We look at the patch notes in English and see two new items: In addition to the Pocket Fortress, there is also a large stadium that fits into the pocket.
The likely last patch for Season 5 is released today on September 18, before Season 6 starts soon. When players log in after downtime, they will find a slightly changed game. We present the most important changes.
These are the highlights of the patch notes 5.41 for Battle Royale
Playground: There is a new item for the Playground mode that works like a Pocket Fortress but builds a stadium. The thing is 7×11 tiles big and is said to be full of damage traps and bounce areas.
Apparently, players are supposed to go into this “Spike Stadium” and play inside it. The item is available in “red supply drops”; along with a lot of impulse grenades. The item will only be available for a limited time in the Playground.
Players had built such “stadiums” themselves in the past to fly around in the playground and shoot at each other. Apparently, Epic Games took this player idea as a template and is now providing it to everyone.
New item Pocket Fortress: The new Fortnite item Pocket Fortress is also equipped with bounce areas. It is said to be “really huge,” says Fortnite. The item is legendary and is set up immediately when thrown. The Pocket Fortress can be found in treasure chests, supply llamas, supply drops, and vending machines.
New mode: In “Height Rush Solo” there is a classic battle royale, but you can redeploy the glider when you reach a great height.
Skin no longer just a head: The skin “Grill Sergeant” has been fixed by Epic. The poor Grill Sergeant was just a head when players wanted to use him in Fortnite.
Storm Wall again harmless: An idea from the last patch 5.40 is being rolled back. The Storm Wall had damaged buildings in the last rounds. It no longer does that. Apparently, it didn’t work as intended.

Horde Challenge 7: Like every week, a new Horde Challenge is coming, granting 1500 gold upon first completion. This week, enemies are immune to group control. You probably have to deal a lot of damage.
These challenges in Fortnite: Save the World take place in a separate sub-mode where you have to defeat waves of enemies and expand your fortress from game to game, which you carry with you.
New weapon: The flintlock launcher will be in the shop from Thursday for a week. The thing fires cannonballs, deals area damage, and knocks back enemies. The balls bounce off the ground before exploding and deal damage to husks with each bounce.
“Save the World” is Fortnite’s PvE mode, and it’s supposed to be free by 2018.
