In Fortnite the new update 6.02 goes live today. We look at the patch notes in English, where we find a rampant disco fever and new weapons.
The patch for Fortnite today mainly brings weapons and a new mode. Additionally, the loot chances in Fortnite Battle Royale are significantly shaken up.
Highlights of the patch notes for Fortnite Battle Royale 6.02
New Weapon: The Quad Launcher in Fortnite fires actually four rockets in quick succession. The accompanying video shows someone shooting a fortress of opponents quite coolly. It is probably intended for quickly destroying fortresses.
The Quad Launcher is available in epic (purple) and legendary (gold) variants. Damage is 80 (epic) or 84 (legendary) per rocket. The explosion radius measures 300 units.
The Quad Launcher can be found in treasure chests and supply drops. It can also be obtained from vending machines.
Return of the Castle: The Pocket Castle is back – but it is rarer (1.83%) than before (2.43%).
New mode comes with respawn
New mode: Disco Domination comes to the game now. This was expected last week. It is a 50vs50 mode – with activated respawn until the last eye of the storm.
5 dance floors will be created on the map, players can capture them for themselves by performing gestures on the dance floor as long as no enemy is nearby. The more players dance, the faster it is captured.
The more dance floors a team has, the faster the “dance bar” rises. When it is full, the team wins. In later phases of the match, the bar fills up faster.

These are variants of the 2017 Halloween skins Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper with back bling and pickaxe. In this article, we show you the new skins and their special challenges:
