In Fortnite, the new update brings real superpowers and a crater. There will be rocks that make players float. This is what the first patch notes for the mobile version of Fortnite say.
Currently, many players are waiting for the official and detailed patch notes for Fortnite on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There is nothing yet, but for iOS, the first news about what is included in update 4.0 is already circulating. It’s relatively short but impactful.
For iOS, there is only Fortnite: Battle Royale. Therefore, the news is limited to that. What happens in the PvE mode “Save the World” has already been outlined in another article.
What we can expect for Fortnite: Battle Royale today
So, the patch notes for Fortnite Mobile include the following news:
- Season 4 is here – Season 4 kicks off with a BANG. The comet has struck, bringing new locations for you to explore. Jump in and witness the aftermath of the impact as you ascend the tiers of the Battle Pass and claim all the new loot.
- Hop Rocks – The comet has left its mark on the island. Visit the crater and find glowing rocks everywhere. Use them to lift off with low gravity.
- Drag and Drop – The quick bar now supports drag and drop for rearranging your inventory.
- Additionally, there are fixes and stability improvements included in the update.

Players can now already download the update. However, the Fortnite servers are still offline. We will thoroughly cover the Season 4 launch in Fortnite and the changes today on Mein-MMO.
Currently, it is still unknown when the servers will come back online and when Fortnite will be functional again.
