Players in Fortnite are reporting issues with outages and queues on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The servers are reportedly at their limit. Additionally, the game is not running smoothly. The servers seem to be overcrowded – the queue is full.
Those who were looking forward to an Easter celebration in the currently popular Fortnite may have their plans disrupted by so many others having the same intentions.
In the night from Thursday to Friday, there were already some server outages when presumably North Americans logged in for the evening. Even on Good Friday, there have been issues since 6:00 PM our time.

What is going on with Fortnite today? Long queues.
- On one hand, the servers are simply closed and players land in queues.
- Or the queues are even full, and nothing happens: Full queues seem to be especially a problem on the PlayStation 4.
- Those who still manage to get into the game must expect longer wait times in matchmaking, get kicked from the game, or encounter other issues.
- Error messages or other problems occur.
- Additionally, those who log in fresh today must first download the hotfix patch 3.4.1, which addresses crash issues and other bugs, but apparently does not solve all of them.
Epic has already announced via Twitter that they are experiencing backend difficulties, and they want to keep users updated. They are aware that so many Fortnite fans want to play and ask players for patience while they resolve the issues.

They first tweeted around 6:00 PM our time, acknowledging issues with the backend. At 8:14 PM, the message came that they are still experiencing issues with the backend services – the backend refers in IT to the developers’ very own system.
Epic temporarily disables the ability to view stats in Fortnite
Update: At 9:24, the message came that Epic temporarily removes players’ ability to view their stats in the game. However, they say: Don’t worry, the stats will still be recorded. Once Fortnite is back to normal, the ability will be restored.
We at Mein-MMO still wish you happy holidays – perhaps in another game.
