Fortnite is hosting a big community event for everyone, but PS4 and PS5 players will receive special rewards. With many items for Fortnite and your PlayStation, Epic Games, in collaboration with Sony, invites you to the Battle Royale shooter. What these are and how to get them is explained here on MeinMMO.
What is this event? This is a community event called “Vorratslama.” Epic Games is organizing this event in collaboration with Sony and is giving PlayStation users cool items for Fortnite and your console. You can find all the important information about the event and how other platforms can access the action here.
With the community, you will get the gifts
What items are there? These are a total of three in-game items, followed by three contents for your PlayStation console. They are as follows:
- Dynamic design for your PS4 with Llamas
- Cosmetic loading screen for Fortnite “Louder Llamas”
- Three PlayStation Network avatars
- Weapon skin “Shimmer Paint”
- Three PlayStation Network avatars
- Glider “Mecha Leader Glider”
To get the items, you must have survived a storm phase in a match at all levels of the respective community milestones. There are a total of three levels, which are as follows:
- Level 1 – 15,000,000 storm phases survived
- Level 2 – 30,000,000 storm phases survived
- Level 3 – 42,000,000 storm phases survived
However, you do not have to reach this number alone. All registered players collect their survived storm phases as a community. But you need to be quick to have a chance to score a point in each level to qualify for the rewards.
How can I participate? To participate in this event, you need to register on the selected Fortnite page with a PlayStation account.
This should, of course, be linked to your “Epic Games” account so that your progress can be recorded by Epic Games in the coming days.
How long does the event last? The event runs until May 23, 2022. So you have a total of four days and 15 hours to participate in the event (as of May 18).
However, you can only contribute a maximum of 25 storm phases to the community event. After all, the entire community should pitch in, not just the regular Fortnite players.
Can I also receive the items on other platforms? Players without PlayStation can also participate in the event. However, you will need a PlayStation account. Register with your created account and you will be redirected by Epic Games to another page. There you will have the choice of which platform you want to use to log in to your “Epic Games” account.
Make sure that your newly created PSN account is linked to your “Epic Games” account so that you can also benefit from the rewards on other platforms. However, note that you cannot unlock the console items for PlayStation for other platforms – Only the Fortnite items will be earnable.
