In Fortnite, huge dinosaurs called “Klombos” are wreaking havoc on the island. Here, we will show you how to utilize these gigantic creatures.
Where are the Dinos in Fortnite? The Klombos can randomly spawn on the map since the new update. Multiple Dinos appear per match – so you can try your luck across the entire map.
However, as of now, there are no fixed spawn points for the Klombos. Players report:
- that Klombos can mostly be found near rivers.
- and that you can find them near the familiar Tilted Towers.
The area around Tilted Towers is likely to be a pretty popular landing spot in Fortnite – after all, the fan-favorite from back in the day has just recently returned.
If you’re just looking for the Klombos, you might want to choose a different starting area. The Dinos are literally huge and can easily be seen from a distance and from the air. So just keep your eyes open when landing.

What do the Dinos do? You don’t need to be afraid when you encounter Klombos. Unlike the aggressive Raptors from past seasons, Klombos are peaceful giants that mostly stroll around calmly and occasionally suck in food.
However, this changes when you attack them. Then the Klombos become aggressive and attack you.
How to use the Dinos: The Dinos can eat items that are in front of them by sucking them in. They are particularly attracted to the new “Klomberries”. When a Klombo eats, it spits out items from a breath hole in its head. These items can be quite powerful – so you can use the dinosaur as a loot source.
Also, you can use the air blast from its head to catapult yourself a few meters away. So, you get another mobility option in addition to the new Tornados or the Spider-Man web shooters.
Where can I find Klomberries? You can pick Klomberries from bushes to either eat them yourself for health or feed them to the Klombo. A popular spot to find the berries is “Haven’s Oasis” in the south of the map, below Rocky Reels and Greasy Grove, west of Chonkers Speedway.
