In Fortnite: Battle Royale, top streamer Ninja is disappointed with the bad atmosphere among pro players. The Twitch star wishes for more respect for Fortnite. After all, streamers and pros make a living from it.
This is what Ninja said: In a stream with Ninja and his colleagues DrLupo, Timthetatman, and Chap, the latter complained about the in-game sounds. “I hate them!” was Chap’s statement.
Then Ninja intervened with strong words: “Chap, try not to sound so angry. ‘I hate the sound! I hate it!’ We need more positive pro players, man. I’m glad you brought that up because I’m fed up with all the people who earn a living from the game and make a fortune off it and then say they find the game terrible. You know what, then you don’t have to play it!”
This is how Chap reacted: Ninja’s harsh criticism had immediate success, and Chap admitted that he didn’t mean the “hate” that way and that his phrasing was probably a bit exaggerated. He just meant that the sound could have been better.
Ninja criticizes Myth and Tfue for toxic behavior
These Fortnite pros are also toxic: After the topic was initially raised, Ninja further criticized top players and streamers Myth and Tfue.
This is what Myth said: The popular and controversial streamer Myth drew attention with a tweet in which he demanded that the creator of the turret in Fortnite should be fired. According to Ninja, that was quite rude and impolite, especially for a streamer in his position. Moreover, it’s not just one guy at Epic responsible for an item, but whole teams.
This is what Tfue said: Tfue is one of the best players in the world and a member of the eSports team FaZe. According to Ninja, he often throws shade at the game and labels 90 percent of competitive content as “dog shit.” “I love how all the pros and people trying to compete in this game just hate everything! […] I just don’t get it!”
A response from the criticized players Myth and Tfue is still pending but is eagerly awaited.
What do you think about the matter? Should pro gamers and streamers like the game that makes them rich and famous? Or are such pros actually the perfect critics since they know the game with all its strengths and weaknesses?
