In Fortnite a rift has appeared. These rifts have brought changes in Season 10. Now it seems that the desert biome will be affected.
Where does the rift appear? In the middle of the desert, near the unnamed small town, the rift has appeared. There is also a machine on the ground again, like the one known from Neo Tilted.
It seems that there will be another change here, and it could happen soon.
New Rift in Fortnite – Is Moisty Mire Coming Back?
What could the rift cause? So far, the rifts on the map have always brought back old areas. Dusty Depot came back and from Neo Tilted became Tilted Town, an old western town. Retail Row was turned into a zombie town.
Where the rift has now appeared, there used to be the swamp area of Moisty Mire a few seasons ago. The desert only arrived there since Season 5.
If Epic stays true to the pattern, then a swamp area could appear there again and Moisty Mire could come back.
What lies behind the rifts: After the start of Season 10 brought only a few changes, more changes occurred over the weeks. The rifts always played a role in this.
With Tilted Town, an area was created where building is not allowed. Unique for all of Fortnite.
A new rift zone in the desert area could throw out some rules in Fortnite again.
When will there be more information? It only took 3 days to create Tilted Town from the first small rift.
You could expect the new rift zone in the next update. The update could be released this Wednesday.
