In Fortnite a new update was released today, March 24, 2020. What has changed? Leaks from data miners show what to expect in the coming weeks.
What’s in the new Patch 12.21? No patch notes have been released and Epic provided no information on what has changed.
However, data miners have shared leaks that reveal what is likely to come in the next weeks.
New skin with challenges?
What was found? Data miner Lucas7yoshi found challenges related to a skin in the Fortnite data.
This is about the Oro skin, which was leaked some time ago but is not yet available in the game.

The skin is expected to come into the game soon with challenges. Through the missions, it is claimed that players can unlock a pickaxe and a weapon skin.
These are the challenges leaked for the gold skin:
What bugs should be fixed?
There are a few bugs recorded on the Fortnite-Trello. These should ideally be fixed with update 12.21.
These bugs should be fixed:
- Players get stuck in the spy mode screen
- Style selection for some locker items is not saved
- Harpoon gun does not always fish items
- Automatic pickup of loot does not work correctly
What’s the deal with the patch notes?
Since when have patch notes been so irregular? Since the start of Chapter 2, we have either received no patch notes or poorly detailed patch notes.
Why are patch notes so important? Patch notes are an important part of a game. Players want to see exactly what has changed in the game or if the bug that has been bothering them has finally been fixed.
How does the community respond to the lack of patch notes? It’s no secret that players are not thrilled with this situation.
A petition has even been started to bring back the patch notes. So the desire for them seems to be quite strong.
This is how a player reacted to Fortnite Status’s Twitter post:
An item was also secretly nerfed. Here you can see why C4 needed a nerf.
