In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS, Android, Switch & Xbox One), the sniper mode has been changed. Instead of playing solo, you now have to play it with friends. Not every player likes this.
Where has the sniper mode gone? Suddenly, the sniper mode was gone. Shortly after, it reappeared, but this time it was limited to duos. Previously, the sniper mode was only available for solo players.
But I don’t want to play with randoms!
Not everyone is happy: The solo mode was ideal for many lone hunters. However, the new duo requirement for the sniper mode does not suit everyone. Some players do not have a fixed buddy team and absolutely do not want to play with randoms. They are left out now.
The rules of the new mode: The duo sniper mode plays similarly to the solo version. Interestingly, there is no revival despite duo teams. Anyone who gets taken out remains dead and cannot be rezzed.
Quickly complete challenges
Tip: The sniper mode is still ideal for completing the challenges from week 2 and week 4. In these, you have to inflict kills and damage with these weapons.
Additionally, the mode is great for completing the time trials from week 6, as there are no rapid-fire weapons that can make it easier for enemies to shoot you while you are running and jumping.
