What kind of weapon is this? Today, on January 13, 2021, the Update 15.20 in Fortnite: Battle Royale was released. This patch brought two new weapons into the game, which you can now use on the island:

- plus the double pistol Hop-Rock-Dualies.
Especially the shotgun is currently hotly debated in the community. And that is not because it is overly strong. But due to its handling, animation, and sound.
How strong is the new pump?
Where can you find it? You can find the new shotgun pretty much everywhere in Fortnite. It can be found lying on the ground, in chests or supply crates.
It appears in the rarity grades from common to legendary.
How strong is it? The weakest version of the Lever Action Shotgun deals 10.4 damage per pellet and takes 6.6 seconds to reload.
The legendary variant, on the other hand, causes 12.7 damage per pellet and reloads in just 5.4 seconds.
