The new map from Season 4 in Chapter 3 of Fortnite has been revealed. There are a few changes from the old map of Season 3. We will show you what’s new.
What’s new? On September 18, the new Season 4 in Fortnite started. At such a season start, players expect many changes like new weapons, items, and a new map. The map is usually extensively revised for the new chapters and receives smaller adjustments for the individual seasons.
In this overview, we show you the new POIs and first images of the new map. In the video, you can already get an impression of how the map has changed:

This is the map: Here we show you two images of the new map, provided by data miner Hypex. In the first image, you see the normal map without annotations, and in the second image, you see the map with all POIs. You can find the images in the Twitter embeds.
All POIs: On the new map of Season 4, you now find the following named locations:

What stands out? The four new POIs Lustrous Lagoon, Herald’s Sanctum, Shimmering Shrine, and Fort Jonesy are new and will likely be very popular at the start of the season. After all, everyone wants to find out what there is to discover. It seems like the Chrome is spreading in the east and aiming for the rest of the map.
Changes are also present in areas like Condo Canyon, which is now floating in the air. You can only reach the new floating POIs with the D-Launchers, which you can find distributed all over the map.
