A heavy shotgun is coming to Fortnite Battle Royale next. The weapon is said to have increased range. It will appear on Thursday with a new patch. However, due to a bug, some gameplay with it is already available.
As Epic announces via in-game message, the next new weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale is a heavy shotgun. In-game, it is stated that it has “increased range”.
Data miners had already found the weapon in the data for patch 3.2.0 and believe that it is a pump shotgun with an increased magazine that will be effective at medium range.
In the data, it was found in the rarity levels purple and orange. In the in-game message, it is represented as legendary (orange).
A release date for the new weapon has not been set yet. However, it is expected to find its way into the game on Thursday with the new patch. This was the case with the last weapons that were introduced in this manner.
The weapon has allegedly already been found through a bug, and it can be seen in action in the epic edition (purple).
