The live event at the end of Season 9 is over in Fortnite and left behind a mysterious cube over Loot Lake. Many players suspect this could indicate massive map changes.
What happened during the live event? The epic battle between robot and monster thrilled thousands of fans. In the end, however, things remained quite calm on the map. Only a mysterious sphere has appeared over Loot Lake.
This sphere is now puzzling many players, as it seems to be getting more and more cracks. If one believes a plausible theory, this sphere could cause immense damage.
What kind of sphere is this over Loot Lake?
This is how it is described: In the Fortnite files, this sphere is described along with “Zero Point”. This was already known from the live event with the cube from Season 5.
The cube used Zero Point energy and pulled players into another world, the Nexus, during a live event for a short time. The energy surrounding Zero Point seems to be very powerful.
This is what it means for the sphere: This sphere basically encompasses the entire Zero Point energy. What the cube only partially tapped into in Season 5 now hovers over Loot Lake.
Looking at the sphere, one can see that it is getting more and more cracks. Already after 24 hours, the sphere has changed and is getting more cracks.
What dataminers found: In the Fortnite files, further details about these cracks were also found. There are said to be 3 stages that show increasing cracks. The sounds of this sphere are also increasing, and it sounds like it could explode.
What would an explosion mean? If one remembers that only part of this energy had effects in Season 5, one can easily imagine what could happen with a full discharge of energy.
Many players now suspect that an explosion could bring players back into another world. Perhaps even into a new world, which then could be established as a new map where players can stay forever.

What could be the theme of Season 10? If the sphere were to explode really large, then a theme around a post-apocalypse would be quite conceivable.

But the location, Loot Lake, would fit well. In the past, many big things have happened here. The vault with all the removed weapons is also located here. When will we know more? This coming weekend, the big Fortnite World Cup will take place. Until then, not much is likely to happen, as the developers promised that they would not make any major map changes until the World Cup.
