The magazine Forbes annually awards the “30 under 30”. These are 30 people under the age of 30 from around the world that you should keep an eye on. For 2019, two stars from Fortnite and one from League of Legends are included. Ninja, Ali-A, and Doublelift are among the 30 biggest stars under 30 in the world.
The magazine Forbes is known for its lists. These lists are a kind of unofficial world ranking for specific things. They are “high score” lists for real life.
For these lists, Forbes is famous:
- Forbes has a list of the richest people in the world – with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos at the top
- a list showcases the most powerful people on Earth – with China’s head of state Xi Jinping at 1, Putin at 2, and Trump at 3. The US president surely thinks this is fake news.
- there is a separate list for the most powerful women, where Angela Merkel ranks number one
- a list for the highest-paid entertainers: boxing star Floyd Mayweather before George Clooney
- and there is the list of the “30 under 30.”
