What awaits us: The aliens have been wreaking havoc on Fortnite’s Battle Royale island for quite some time now, recklessly and destructively. IO, the organization which now wants to fight back against the aliens, has a plan to destroy the mothership to eliminate the alien threat. This mission will surely be presented to players in the live event.
What to expect in the live event “Skyfire” in Season 7
Fans have been diligently completing covert missions for the underground organization IO for weeks. These came in the form of weekly tasks assigned at phone booths. The gathered information now allows us to eliminate the mothership once and for all.
Interactive mission: The official French Twitter account of Fortnite confirmed that the operation “Skyfire” will be interactive.
So we can not only observe the event, but also activate and control certain processes ourselves. Epic Games also organized this with the previous Galactus live event. There, we could fly around with a modified Battle Bus and fight Galactus.
This is the plan: As Epic Games has already teased in Fortnite, IO will equip the floating Corny Complex islands with bombs.
However, whether we will still enter the mothership during the live event remains to be seen. What is certain is that we will be on a secret mission to stop these aliens.
Maybe during the event, we will enter the ship to possibly secure information regarding the absorbed zero point. The aliens’ abduction of the zero point also seems questionable. This will surely be clarified during the event.
When does the live event start? The live event starts on 12.09.21 at 10 PM. So you should log in to Fortnite early, as the crowd will surely be large.
