Destiny 2 and Fortnite have entered a crazy collaboration, providing fans not only with cool skins and ornaments but also with an accurate recreation of the most famous Destiny PvP mode along with its map.
Which mode is it? Fortnite has created a detailed recreation of the PvP mode “Control” in its creative mode. Additionally, players can roam the iconic Destiny map “Javelin-4” and battle against other players alongside their Guardian friends.
If the appearance of your Guardian has bothered you and you have always wanted to disrupt the PvP of Destiny 2 with a crazy skin, this is your chance.
Crazy skins are causing chaos in the universe of Destiny 2
Not only Fortnite fans are enjoying the Destiny content. Players who know Destiny 2 will also feel at home in Fortnite, as the recreation of the PvP map is very faithful to the original. The mechanics behind capturing zones or the weapon assignments of the respective classes are excellently chosen.
The super abilities of the respective classes naturally cannot be missed. Players can choose between three classes with their corresponding loadouts and preset supers. The following options are available:
- Titan – Barrier – A rifle with a scope and a shotgun + grenade
- Warlock – Chaos Reach – A pulse and scout rifle + stink bomb
- Hunter – Golden Gun – Revolver and a SMG + explosive throwing knife
How does the mode work? You select a class at the beginning that suits you or with which you can play well. After that, you will be released onto the map and must capture zones, hold them, and generate as many kills as you can. A total of two teams with five players each compete against each other.
The first team to reach 200 points wins the match. Your ultimates, which charge over time, or the constant heavy ammo drops are supposed to support you on your path to victory.
How do I find the creative map in Fortnite? To do this, open the mode selection in Fortnite and click over to the “Island Code” section. There you enter the following number: 0642-9767-7225. After that, confirm your input and you can play the Destiny 2 mode.
Is the mode the same as in Destiny 2? Surprisingly, the mode is indeed a really good copy of the original PvP mode. Not only are the ultimates well-represented and transferred, but also the sometimes absurd respawns of the Crucible from Destiny 2.
Additionally, you quickly find yourself back in your classes. The shotgun ape, also known as Titan, or the crazy hand cannon Hunters provide great recognizability.
