The start of Season 5 is just around the corner in Fortnite and with it, according to a leak, a new/old map, as Epic Games may have prepared a classic for you that you have been waiting for years.
What kind of map could Season 5 get? Leakers have already taken a look at the data during Season 4 and are still keeping an ear out for further clues. This time, an image has leaked, showcasing the new possible map of Chapter 4 Season 5.
It is none other than the map from Chapter 1. This should not only feature familiar POIs but also weapons and vehicles that players from the past should recognize.

Epic Games fulfills players’ long-standing wish
Why is the map so special? Fortnite has existed with its Battle Royale for 6 years now, and during this time, many fans have seen how Epic Games has changed and even swapped the map, but one remained in players’ memories, and that was the one from Chapter 1.
Not only were there the intense live events that Epic Games organized at that time, but it was also the beginnings that players had on this map. Constantly new weapons, vehicles, a new genre that players could explore at that time, with crazy skins and modes that constantly differed.

For 10 Seasons, players could indulge in their nonsense and have fun on this ever-changing map until the most intense live event in Fortnite’s history created a new map. After this event, many players demanded the return of the Chapter 1 map, but that never happened.
Many fans had to find maps in Creative mode that represented replicas of the Chapter 1 map, but these were either poorly designed, bugged, or too small. Should the leak prove true, a large part of the OG players would surely be happy about it.
What POIs are there on the new map? The leak also shows locations that the new map is supposed to contain. The following are known:

Is the leak trustworthy? The leak was posted by Shiina, who has proven to be a trustworthy leaker in the Fortnite scene. Since Season 5 is supposed to run under the name “OG”, it seems plausible that players could return to the old map.
Additionally, the new lobby background in Fortnite hints at a time machine equipped with the date “12.07.2018”. This date marked the start of Season 5 Chapter 1, so it is conceivable that players could travel back in time with the time machine on Friday.
