In Fortnite, leaks show a crashed spaceship. Is this the first hint at a new event?
What the leaks show: After the new update 13.30 went live in Fortnite, it seems that some new data has also been added to the code. This has now been uncovered by data miners (via FortniteInsider) – and includes, among other things, a crashed spaceship.
As the leaker “FortTory” shows, the crashed spaceship is located just before Craggy Cliffs. However, it is not yet in the game as it is still covered by the water masses from the season start. It can be assumed that it will emerge once the water continues to recede over time.
What is in the spaceship?
What does the ship bring? Since these are data mining findings, the information should be taken with caution and may change further. But according to the leak, the location where the spaceship lands will likely be a point of interest called “Crash Site”. Additionally, the leak suggests that there will also be henchmen at this location that you can attack.
Many other locations on the map, such as the Authority, where there are henchmen, are also complemented by a boss. The FortTory leak shows a “Ancient Astronaut” in the ship. It is possible that this is just a new skin. Some players also bring the character Siona from the Battle Pass into the game – she also wears an astronaut suit. This could also be a new mini-boss – or the first hint at upcoming events.
Together with the ship, challenges related to it have also been leaked. They are:
- Find “Ancient Ship”
- Collect the missing part
- Install the missing part
- Start the launch sequence
- Stop the ship’s launch
It is thus likely not just a small Easter egg lying around on the map, but you will also interact with the ship.
It would not be the first time that elements from outer space begin to announce a new event in Fortnite. For example, the alien visitor from Season 4, who became a scientist in Season 10, launched the well-known rocket.

Whether the crashed spaceship is also the first hint that extraterrestrial forces will soon wreak havoc in Fortnite again? For now, it seems wise to wait and observe.
