In Fortnite, there are some issues. In Battle Royale, grenades do not count towards an important challenge. Additionally, back bling is causing trouble. The PvE “Save the World” is hit even harder, as crashes occur.
Grenades do not count towards the challenge: This week there is a challenge in Fortnite: Battle Royale to deal a lot of damage with grenades, stick grenades, or stink bombs. Not a problem by itself.
However, while grenades do hurt opponents, the damage dealt does not count towards the challenge.
This is extremely frustrating and makes the challenge difficult. Players are already complaining on reddit and in the forum. A response from Epic is still pending.
Until then, players will likely have to resort to stink bombs and stick grenades to complete the challenge.
Particularly annoying: If the challenge is not fulfilled, the secret star also cannot be collected. While the challenges will remain for weeks – it does bother the impatient players.
Burger Boss causes game crashes
Beef outfit causes trouble: There were also crashes when someone wore a back bling made of fabric while parading around with the Burger Boss skin.
Epic had initially recommended avoiding this combination of items.
However, overnight they decided to remove the fabric back blings from the game with a fix. This should prevent any more crashes. The back blings will return to Fortnite later.
Save the World serious problems
PvE crashes: The PvE mode of “Save the World” has serious issues. Crashes are happening more and more frequently (via reddit).
The frustrating part is that players lose their traps and resources they need to build their base when the game suddenly crashes.
What is so frustrating? Normally, players spend about 15 minutes on side missions and refilling their resources in Save the World every round. They then put these resources into the fort. If the mission crashes before it is completed, all resources are lost, as well as the progress made in the missions up to that point.
Save the World is steadily getting better, but is currently crashing
Crashes are extremely annoying in Fortnite: Save the World. This is particularly unfortunate because Epic has actually been gradually improving the PvE of Fortnite and is very generous. Just this week there were 3 birthday llamas worth 3000 Road Trip tickets.
Epic has already announced that they have fixed the most serious issues with a patch. But they want to continue addressing the topic.
