The developers of Fortnite, Epic Games, have announced some innovations for Season 8. The airplanes will no longer be available. Instead, they are considering a respawn system for teams.
What is happening with the airplanes? As Epic Games announced in a Q&A on Reddit, the airplanes will disappear from Fortnite at the beginning of Season 8 in a few days.
They will land in the “vault” with other items that are no longer in the game.
The X-1 Stormwing aircraft was newly introduced to Fortnite at the start of Season 7 and will be removed from the game by the end of the season. It is currently unclear whether the airplanes will return or what Fortnite plans to replace them.

When a team member dies, you can loot a box. Inside, there is a banner. If you take this banner to a “Respawn Beacon”, you can revive the fallen teammate.

Currently, eliminated team members are out of the game – which is frustrating when friends play together and then have to watch for minutes.

Epic wants to ensure that they take enough time for this and are clear about how a respawn would change Fortnite.
Players should wait for new information during Season 8.
What about the ping? Another feature that has been highly praised in Apex Legends is pinging, a quick form of communication among team members.
Here Epic says: “There are some improvements coming during Season 8 that will enhance team communication.”
