Dataminers have found new cosmetics and a city in Fortnite after the update 10.31 that hint at an event with Batman. The event will take place soon. We will show you what we already know about it.
What is this event about? Cosmetics, a city, weapons, and challenges have been leaked by dataminers. All these items point to an event with Batman. In the challenges, one could unlock various items.
Update September 20, 2019: Epic Games has now announced via Twitter that tomorrow, on September 21, 2019, at 14:00, the reveal for the Batman event will come.

Gotham City in Tilted Town?
Why would the new city be in Tilted Town? After the update 10.31, a new Rift Beacon has appeared on the Fortnite map. These machines have returned new/old locations in the past: In the last update, two locations were changed.
Now it seems Tilted Town will be affected, as a Rift Beacon has appeared there:
What does the new city look like? The dataminer FNLeaksAndInfo (via Twitter) has leaked an overview of what the city of Gotham City might look like. Here is the overview:
It looks like it will be a large city with tall buildings. Even the Bat-Signal, which is activated when someone needs help, is included.
Cosmetics, weapons, and challenges for the event
What items have been found? The dataminer Lucas7yoshi (via Twitter) found a handful of new items that can be associated with Batman. He found a banner, a loading screen, a boomerang, a grappler, two gliders, and a spray design.

What kinds of challenges are there for the event? Challenges have also been leaked that would fit the Batman event. These are the challenges that have been leaked and are now available in the game as a limited-time challenge.
When could this event start? It is still unclear whether there will be an event. However, since the Rift Beacon has already been set up in Tilted Town, it shouldn’t be long before something happens there. Many clues point to an event, but we will surely learn more about it in the coming days.
