In Fortnite, the next Hunter skin from the series could be released soon. Hints and leaks now suggest that the skin might be Lara Croft. We will show you what supports this.
What kind of skin is this? In Season 5 – Chapter 2, hunters from other universes continue to appear. They are recruited by Agent Jonesy to guard the Zero Point, as seen in the Season 5 trailer.
So far, we have seen several skins, like the hunters from The Walking Dead. Now, some hints and leaks about the next Hunter skin are emerging.
Lara Croft as the next huntress?
What has been discovered? Dataminers found hints indicating the next Hunter skin. There are supposed to be some codes in the data pointing to a female skin that is supposed to be reactive as well. The codename under which the outfit can be found is currently: Typhoon.
Some players believe that the “T” in Typhoon could stand for Tomb Raider. That would be another hint for Lara Croft, who is the main character from the video game Tomb Raider.
However, not only the leak is causing speculation. Tomb Raider itself has published a tweet that might hint at a collaboration with Fortnite. They posted 3 emojis, showing:
- A pickaxe that is also used in Fortnite
- A female figure that could represent the skin
- A crossbow that could represent the back accessory

This is not a confirmation that Lara Croft is actually coming to Fortnite, as it could simply be an announcement for Tomb Raider itself.
We will likely see what other hints emerge and if we will actually be able to play as the huntress from Tomb Raider in Fortnite soon. Until then, players can continue to speculate about which skin will be released for the Crew subscription. There should soon be some improvements and leaks suggest that players might even have a say in the decision.
