On the weekend, there will be a fishing tournament in Fortnite: the Fishing Frenzy. There are three prizes to win, such as the harvesting tool Depth Dweller. We will show you all the information about the start time and the participation requirements.
What kind of tournament is this? This tournament revolves around fishing. The “Fishing Frenzy” encourages players to fish in Fortnite. There are a few prizes to win, and even a fishing skin will be available in the item shop.
When does the tournament start? The “Fishing Frenzy” starts on Friday, November 22nd, at 2:00 PM and will run until Monday, November 25th, at 2:00 AM.
During this time, you can participate in the fishing tournament and grab the prizes.

What prizes can you win? There are 3 different prizes that you can snag during the tournament. However, there are different categories in the fishing tournament, so the prizes vary.
The spray will be available to everyone. For the harvesting tool, you will need quite a bit of luck. The “engraved trophy” will only be sent to 4 players per region, which is only for the toughest anglers.
Best Angler:
- Catch the most fish during the event in the course of a match
- There is one champion per regional server
- You win an engraved llama trophy
Small Fish Champion:
- Catch the most small fish during the event
- There is one champion per regional server
- You win an engraved llama trophy.
Jumper Champion:
- Catch the most jumpers during the event
- There is one champion per regional server
- You win an engraved llama trophy
Sipperfish Champion:
- Catch the most sipperfish during the event
- There is one champion per regional server
- You win an engraved llama trophy
Mythical Goldfish = instant prize:
- Every player who catches a mythical goldfish receives the harvesting tool “Depth Dweller”!
A good reason to bite:
- Every player participating during the event receives the spray design “Play for Victory”
- Use a fishing rod during the event times from: Friday, November 22nd at 2:00 PM to Sunday, November 25th at 2:00 AM

How can you participate in the tournament?
To join, you just need to pick up a fishing rod to outdo your opponents in one of the categories described above in the section “Competition Times, Prizes and Categories”.
The winners will be notified through the game’s gifting system as well as via the email address associated with the respective Epic account ID.
Attention: Only fishing is allowed! Fish caught with the harpoon do not count. Also ensure that 2FA is enabled on your account to receive prizes.
