What will happen today in Fortnite? Developer Epic will release a new update as usual this week, which will not elevate Fortnite to a new game version but will likely include some bug fixes and a new item for both the Battle Royale and Save the World modes. It is a so-called content update; the game version remains at 8.20.
Unlike in previous weeks, players do not have to take a forced break; there will be no maintenance!

The update will be released at 14:00 German time. That is considerably later than usual. Typically, Epic releases new updates in the morning. The catch: You do not need to download an update, as Epic will make all changes server-side. Therefore, ideally, you won’t notice the update at all.
What’s included in the update for Battle Royale players? The community is still in an uproar, after Epic removed various functions from the game.
The frustration even went so far, that streamers like Ninja preferred to play Uno instead of Fortnite, and even Zlatan Ibrahimovic urged Epic to reverse the changes.
