The big live event on October 13 took place in Fortnite. You can watch the video of the end of Fortnite here.
What kind of event was it? In Fortnite Battle Royale, a countdown was running down to Sunday evening at 8:00 PM. Exactly at the end of the countdown, the rocket launched.
This is how the “end” of Fortnite went down
What did the “end” look like? The rocket was launched after the countdown ended. It flew high into the air and was then teleported.
There were rifts everywhere, and parts of the rocket were teleported through these rifts. The parts flew back and forth across the map and past the players.
Then everyone flew to the meteor and hit it. A rift formed in front of the meteor and it was drawn in.
The whole rocket then flew down above Loot Lake, followed by the meteor.
The shield was breached and the meteor hit the “rift ball” in Loot Lake. This caused a massive shockwave and all players were thrown into the air.
After a short time, a black hole formed and began to suck in everything and everyone. You could still hear the Battle Bus honking and flying into the hole.
Now Fortnite is no longer accessible, and all you see is this black hole. Is this the end of Fortnite or just a bridge of downtime until the new season starts?
Were there any map changes? After this event, it should be certain that this map can no longer exist as it is. Either it is “the end” of Fortnite or we will start the next season with a completely new map.
The end of Fortnite?
Some now think the game is over and that you can no longer play. However, it is more likely that it is just a bridge until the new season or Fortnite Chapter 2 starts.
What does Fortnite look like now? When you start Fortnite now, you either enter a waiting queue or only see the black hole. This is what it looks like at the moment:
