Fortnite has just encountered a bizarre bug. When you perform certain emotes in a golf cart, you will become a gigantic item from the emote. These include popcorn buckets and guitars.
Bug causes laughter: If you recently came across a huge popcorn bucket on a golf cart in Fortnite or saw someone dealing with a gigantic electric guitar, then you have witnessed the emote bug.
What does the bug do? This quirky glitch allows you to perform an emote in a golf cart under certain conditions, and then the item from the emote appears gigantic for its duration. In the case of the popcorn bucket, your whole character will be overlaid by the item. With the guitar, your character plays their solo on a meter-long instrument.
How to become a giant popcorn!
This is so cool, I want to do it too! The bug is harmless and causes no damage. Instead, you’ll attract more attention from your opponents, but so what? If you want to try the glitch for fun, you just need to follow these steps:
- Find a golf cart
- Get in the cart
- Start an emote and then switch seats with the corresponding key press
The emote trick is a bit tricky to pull off, but if you do it right, you should become a gigantic popcorn bucket or a giant electric guitar for the duration of the emote. It is still unknown whether other emotes also work. So far, only the electric guitar and the popcorn bucket have been confirmed.
