In Fortnite, you will soon be able to secure the monthly subscription “Fortnite Crew,” which mainly brings you cosmetics. But what’s in the package?

The “brilliant way” is somewhat like a subscription, as you might know from streaming services. However, instead of movies and series, there are monthly Fortnite contents. What’s inside?
What does Fortnite Crew offer?
With the subscription, you can secure various contents for the monthly fee, all related to cosmetics. These include:
- Access to the current Battle Pass. While it doesn’t change monthly, it is always included in the subscription – so you don’t have to buy it separately. The Battle Pass usually costs 950 V-Bucks, around €10. Additionally, it includes more V-Bucks and plenty of cosmetics. In the soon-ending season, it was full of Marvel heroes.
- 1,000 V-Bucks per month. This is also worth about €10 and can be spent on items from the shop. So even more skins and cosmetics.
- Every month there’s an exclusive Crew Pack. It includes an outfit that can only be obtained with the Crew subscription, as well as matching gear. Skins in the shop usually cost between €10 and €20, and here you get an exclusive skin. The first one is “Galaxia,” along with a special pickaxe and back accessory. This fits the upcoming event happening before the start of the season.
Overall, with the subscription, you can save a bit of money compared to individual purchases if you plan to invest money in Fortnite cosmetics more often. However, if you’re only interested in the Battle Pass, it’s cheaper to just secure that and then play enough to fund the next one directly.
How does the subscription work? At the end of each month, the new skin package will be announced, so you can decide whether you want to continue. The subscription is cancellable on a monthly basis. Everything you received as part of the subscription can be kept even after it expires. If you have already purchased the Battle Pass, you will get a refund in the form of V-Bucks if you decide to go for a subscription.
