Durr Burger disappears from Fortnite: Recently, the giant burger from the company sign “Durrr Burger” disappeared from Fortnite. Photographer accidentally finds this burger: Yesterday, hobby photographer Sela Shiloni was in the area around California. Allegedly without having anything to do with Fortnite – he doesn’t even know the game. There in California, he stumbled upon a massive art burger in a desert, in the middle of nowhere, which clearly originates from Fortnite. It is the RL version of the vanished Durr Burger.

Group sets off: A group of players then set off to investigate the mysterious burger more closely, as reported by PC Gamer (Livestream via YouTube). When they arrived at the burger, a person approached them and handed them a business card. The card reads “Agent #3678.” On the other side of the card was a phone number. Hint of new desert map for Fortnite Season 5?
PR effect? The burger in the desert is likely a clear sign from Epic that they are ready to push the PR campaign further at the end of Season 4 and for the start of Season 5, compared to the last season transition. This time Epic likely wants to include stunts in the real world. Recently, a giant battle bus appeared in front of Epic’s headquarters. They seem capable of anything when it comes to PR.
Fortnite players hope for desert map: Even though it is still very early, some players hope that the burger in the desert announces a new “desert map” for Fortnite. After all, there is also a new desert biome for the PvE “Save the World” of Fortnite with Season 5. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
