In Fortnite: Battle Royale, spring and Easter are celebrated. To mark this, a tournament is held where you can get a duck skin for free before the outfit appears in the item shop. We will show you how to get the skin.
What kind of skin is this? To celebrate the start of spring, the “Freaky Spring” event takes place in Fortnite. In a cup, you can compete against other players and win the Webster skin. This outfit is a robot duck, which is supposed to fit the Easter theme.
Only the best players can unlock the Webster outfit before anyone else. We will show you how to participate in the tournament.
Here’s how you can get the Webster skin for free
To earn the duck skin for free, you must participate in the “Freaky Spring” cup. We will show you how to join and what conditions must be met.
When does the cup take place? The “Freaky Spring” cup, which is a duo tournament, will take place on Friday, April 2, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
You have 3 hours to play a total of 10 matches and gather as many points as possible. In duos, you will compete against other opponents in regular rounds.
How to participate in the Spring Cup
What do you need to do? Since this is a duo tournament, you first need a partner to participate with you in the tournament. However, everyone who wants to join the cup must meet these conditions:
- The Fortnite account must have reached at least level 30
- You must have two-factor authentication set up
Important: These conditions apply to both duo partners participating in the tournament and must be met by both.
What are the rewards?
What can you win for free? As already mentioned, you can win the Webster outfit in the tournament. There is also the back accessory “Mechafeathers” for free for all winners.
Only the players who place among the top 1,125 will receive the skin set for free and before anyone else.
Can the skin be obtained outside the tournament? If you don’t place among the top 1,125 players, you should still have a chance to get Webster. Fortnite has mentioned in the blog that the winners will be the first to receive the skin. This suggests that the skin will later be available in the item shop – as is usually the case with tournaments that have skins as rewards.
When the Webster skin will appear in the item shop is still unknown. We will update the article as soon as more information about its arrival in the shop is known.
