The Lachlan set is coming soon to the shop at Fortnite. However, you can win it in a special cup and wear it before other players.
Who is it about? The Fortnite Icon series continues, adding a new streamer to its roster. This is a series featuring skin sets inspired by prominent figures in the Fortnite community. The sets are based on the appearance of the celebrities.
Previously, Ninja and Loserfruit have appeared and received their own skins. The third Fortnite creator becoming an icon is Lachlan.
On his YouTube channel, he has 13.9 million subscribers and has specialized in all kinds of Fortnite-related videos in recent years. However, he also previously released videos about the popular mobile game Pokémon GO or Minecraft.
You will soon be able to buy the skin normally in the Fortnite shop. But a few lucky players will get it before others – and for free.
How to get the Lachlan skin in Lachlan’s Pickaxe Frenzy
Epic is hosting a tournament where you can win the set. It is called “Lachlan’s Pickaxe Frenzy.”
What kind of tournament is it? It is played in trios. You and two friends need to be particularly clever. Because as a primary weapon, only the pickaxe is available. You search for rusty cans, impulse grenades, clone grenades, and supply drops to protect your team against opponents.
Building materials are limited to just 10. You can only recharge your health by eliminating opponents or using an emote.
If you place 1st to 1,100 in Europe, you will receive the Lachlan set as a reward. Check out the official tournament rules for the Lachlan Cup on epicgames.com.
When is the tournament? On Sunday, November 8th, Lachlan’s Pickaxe Frenzy takes place in Fortnite. It’s best to check directly in Fortnite under the competition tab for more info.

What’s included in the set? At 1:00 AM on November 8th, YouTuber Lachlan will present his Fortnite set. We already know which parts the outfit includes. These are

- a back accessory,
- a pickaxe
- and an in-game emote.
When will the Lachlan set be available in the shop?
Epic says: It is already decided when the set will be available in the shop. Starting November 13th at 1:00 AM, the Lachlan set will be available in the Fortnite shop. The price is still unclear. You might receive all the cosmetic items together as a set or be able to purchase them individually.
