The Season 7 Battle Pass in Fortnite is full of cool skins. But it’s not just about these skins, as you can unlock rare Super Style variants for some of them. We’ll show you how to get the skins from the Season 7 Battle Pass in Fortnite.
What are these skins? In the Season 7 Battle Pass you can unlock various skins like Rick from the series ‘Rick and Morty’ or the alien Kymera. However, if you want to further customize your outfits, you can unlock them with special style variants. In Season 7, there are silver, gold, and prisma variants.
The Battle Pass works differently in Season 7 than before. You need Battle Pass stars to ‘buy’ the items and skins. The new system also affects the special style variants that you have to unlock this way. Still, the style variants, as in the previous season, will only be available after level 100.
Unlock special style variants for skins – Here’s how
What do you need to do? In order to unlock the style variants, you first need to have the corresponding skins from the Battle Pass. In this season, you can get a special variant for these 5 skins:
- Sunny
- Guggimon
- ZYG
- Doctor Slone
- Rick Sanchez
Once you have reached level 100, unlocking these skins from the Battle Pass will not be a problem – just buy them with your earned Battle Pass stars. However, you will need to level up, as you will need many stars for the Super Style variants. Here’s what the variants look like:

How many levels do you need in total? The new system makes the calculation of the required levels a bit more complicated – previously there was simply a certain level at which you unlocked the skin. Now, however, it is calculated as follows:
- To unlock all required skins, you need at least Level 100
- After that, you need 40 levels to unlock enough items from the Battle Pass
- Only after this unlocking will you gain access to the special style variants
- A style variant costs 20 Battle Stars – that’s 4 levels
- Buying all style variants for all available skins will then cost you 60 levels
So if you want to have all 3 style variants for the 5 skins, you need to reach Level 200 in Season 7. In our level guide, you’ll find some tips on how to level up faster:
The new system complicates the calculation, but it is better for unlocking. You only need to reach Level 200 now. In previous seasons, you sometimes had to grind up to Level 230 to unlock all style variants.
