The Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite is packed with cool skins. But it doesn’t just stop at these skins, as you can unlock rare style variants for some of them. We will show you how to obtain the skins from the Battle Pass of Season 6 in Fortnite.
What kinds of skins are these? In the Battle Pass of Season 6, you can unlock various skins such as Agent Jones. As a bonus, there is the soccer player Neymar Jr. as the secret skin of the season. However, those who want to further customize their outfits can unlock them with special style variants. In Season 6, the variants are Chrome, Runes, and Gold.
This works similarly to the rare skins from Season 5 – Chapter 2 and will again only be available after reaching Level 100.
Unlocking special style variants for skins – Here’s how to do it
What do you need to do? These style variants are only available to players who reach a high level in the current season. This makes the skins even rarer and more special. However, you can unlock the special appearance for only 3 skins from the Battle Pass.
So if you want to get the cool skins, you’ll have to gather a lot of experience points, play a lot, and level up. But first, you need to reach Level 100 before the race begins. In our Level Guide, you’ll find some tips on how to level up faster:
Style Variant – Chrome
Let’s start with the first style variant you can unlock. This variant gives the skins a chrome color. The entire skin then appears in chrome and differs greatly from its original form. The variants will be unlocked at these levels for the 3 characters:
- Chrome Variant for Tanara: Level 110
- Chrome Variant for Raz: Level 130
- Chrome Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 150
Style Variant – Runes
Another style variant for your 3 Battle Pass skins is Runes. This variant makes the characters appear a bit darker than the Chrome variant, but a purple glow can now be seen in certain areas of the skin. This helps to distinguish between the first two variants. They will be unlocked at these levels:
- Runes Variant for Tanara: Level 160
- Runes Variant for Raz: Level 180
- Runes Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 200
Style Variant – Gold
As always, the gold variant of the skins cannot be missed. It seems to have become a tradition that has been established since Season 2 Chapter 2. Also in Season 6, you will be able to secure a gold variant of the Battle Pass skins once again. This time you get a purple glow that has settled in with the characters for the gold appearance. The variants will be unlocked at these levels:
- Gold Variant for Tanara: Level 205
- Gold Variant for Raz: Level 215
- Gold Variant for Spire Assassin: Level 225
It is not yet certain whether these will be the only skins that will receive a gold variant. It is suspected that Lara Croft will also have a style variant in gold. We will update the guide as soon as more information about the variants becomes available.
